This outfit combines two of my favorite pieces: A trench and blue Jeans.

Especialy this light blue jeans is an allrounder; it fits to almost everything.

The nude high heels belong to my wardrobe essentials; combining them with dresses or skirts let you appear taller as you are, by visually lengthening your legs.

The 101 of Packing a Suitcase...

Packing your luggage can - as fun as it can be though - a tricky thing.

Especially the question of combining is hard once you are away from your closet and your everyday items.

So imagine being away for a week for -lets say- a business trip mixed with going out at night.

What are you packing then?

Since I am traveling regularly, I wanted to share my experiences with you guys.

As you can see I have packed quite a lot, but this fits into a medium suitcase, still leaving a lot of room for souvenirs.

In the next few days I am going to share my outfits with you, but before I wanted to give you a few tips:

*Choose a few basics; My weapon of choice is a strapless white top

*Pick a few key pieces; I used colorful clutch bags and different types of accessories

*Less shoes mean more space in your suitcase

*Reduce the heavy items, go for the light ones

*Pick pants you can combine with more than one Top; light blue jeans are great for this

Sunday...

For the modern fashionista the name Carrie Bradshaw isn't unknown.
A columnist, with a special sense of fashion, lives in the probably most popular city in the world: New York City.

Who didn't wanted to switch her own life with Carries?
Living in New York City, having your own column in a famous magazine, investing almost all of your well earned money in designer fashion
and Manolo Blahniks, gossiping with your equally stylish and successful girlfriends in the Hot Spots of New York, while sipping Cosmopolitans.

Who didn't wished to start writing her own blog after watching Carrie sitting in front of her desk, staring out of the window, tipping her inner thoughts about
men and the dating life of the new metropolitan woman?

As good as it sounds, I would never want my live to be like Carries.
The - almost- never ending dating-life (frustrations included), barely contact with her family,
a tiny apartment (Ok it's in New York, which - admitted- is awesome), an many many disasters that all needed to be handled.

Instead I take my time on a Sunday, put on cozy clothes, pour a glass of wine and watch:

Sex and the City.
I don't want to switch my live with her but watching hers makes a lot of fun.

Dinner Time in Black and Cream... A sure thing

Going out on dinner seems to be quite tricky, if you don't know where to go.

The question is:

Is it going to be a casual or elegant restaurant?

Mostly you decide once you are there and then maybe your outfit seems - well lets call it - over or underdressed.

To avoid these kind of situations choose a simple outfit, that easily could fit into both.

Nude pants and a basic white shirt (casual) polished with a black blazer an heels.

The clutch keeps it elegant while the necklace gives my outfit a playful touch.

A simple Make-Up, which you can 'upgrade' simply with a powerful lipstick color.

I wear: ZARA - blazer

          H&M - shirt

             Mango - trousers

     High Heels - Buffalo

Getting ready for Summer...

What happens if you haven't been shopping for almost a month and the sun was shining after what felt-like an eternity?

Yes, I did it. I went shopping and lost myself in summer pieces. =)

I bought theses cases for my sunglasses. I loved the one with the flowers, but couldn't resist to buy the black one and the beige one too. Your closet looks way more organized, if you have matching pieces. They look nice in my drawer.

New colors in my nail polish collection. As you can see this summer will be with a lot of red, pink and blue on my nails. Flormar is one of the best nail polishes I've used and Kiko never fails to impress with it's amazing colors.

Aren't these brushes lovely? You don't really much to put on a flawless make-up. Just remember to clean them proper regularly.

I keep my make up nice and simple, but having a colorful make up palette gives you the opportunity to add a little color every now and then. Therefore I couldn't resist buying this one. Again all summer colors are represented. Yuhu. 

Last but not least some of my other purchases: Jewelery. Light an simple pieces for everyday and statement pieces for going out.

As you can see I had a very pleasant shopping spree. Hope yours are as successful as mine was.

Whats a typical Sunday for you?

Whats a typical Sunday for you?

Living in a big city causes you to have a lot of stress; the traffic, rushing from one appointment to another, crowded areas. So the weekdays pass by leaving you quite exhausted; but there are always the nice and well deserved weekends.

I spend most of my Saturdays meeting with friends, running errands or visiting my parents. I think it's really important to stay in touch in person, instead of virtual. Sure I text with people I love, but meeting them and looking them in their eyes while talking is just priceless.
Shopping with your friends, having coffee together, doing the latest gossip just works better while being in the same room. There are things you can say about someone that won't mean the same if you don't show that special emotion on your face *wink*. Haha

On Sundays I like to take time for myself and my husband. Sitting in the living-room, watching TV, chatting. Usually he is on his X-Box, while I check out the Vogue, have a nice cup of tea and
of course get ready for the next week by doing my nails.

So Ladies, Never forget to be close to your loved ones, bu also Always take time for yourself, because you are worth it.
